Dr. Amy Nguyen was born in Dalat, Vietnam, and moved to the United States in the fourth grade. From a young age, she was passionate about becoming a dentist. She pursued her education at Southern Methodist University (SMU), where she earned a degree in biology with a minor in Japanese. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in preventative care and cosmetic dentistry. Her passion lies in restoring patients’ smiles and helping them feel more confident. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care across all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular focus on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for her patients. Building strong connections with her patients is a top priority, and she works to alleviate dental anxiety while ensuring that everyone receives the highest standard of care. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Nguyen continually expands her knowledge through ongoing education, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry to offer the best possible care.
In her free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys training her beloved corgi, playing pickleball, and spending quality time with her friends and family. She has a deep curiosity for learning about different cultures and dreams of traveling the world one day.
Dr. Tony Nguyen grew up in Chicago, but his journey eventually brought him to Texas when he attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he majored in Cell and Molecular Biology. Captivated by the vibrant energy of the state, he decided to make Texas his home, both professionally and personally. Dr. Nguyen went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry, where his dedication to dental excellence and patient care took root.
When Dr. Nguyen is away from his dental practice, he enjoys trying out new restaurants and spending time with his family. As an advocate for health, Dr. Nguyen stays active by playing basketball and working out during his spare time. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys playing pickleball, watching the Mavericks, camping, and picking up new hobbies. With a love for learning, he dabbles in a bit of everything—including crocheting!
Dr. Nguyen is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).

Hi, I’m Ponyo (pronounced pon-yo), the fluffiest operational manager at Wynn Dental! I work from home, keeping a close eye on things to make sure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s managing schedules or boosting team morale with my wagging tail, I make sure Wynn is always tip-top! When I’m not on duty, you can find me napping, playing fetch, or giving the best puppy cuddles!
